Shimmery Smoky

Hi Loves,
Like I mentioned in my last post, I created a look with the new shadows that I wanted to share with you. This is a bit different from what I usually create but I did want to create a smoky eye as well, because believe it or not I do wear a toned down version of this almost all the time to work! This is a bit different from the usual because as you can tell I do tent to stay on the other side of the color wheel! But either way I hope you like it! And here it is:

Products I used:
MAC Paintpot in Painterly Maccosmetics.com
Too Faced Shadow Insurance TooFaced.com
MUG eyeshadow: Cinderella Makeupgeek.com
MUG eyeshadow: Corrupt Makeupgeek.com
MUG eyeshadow: Moondust Makeupgeek.com
MUG eyeshadow: Shimma Shimma Makeupgeek.com
ELF eyebrow kit eyeslipsface.com
Ardell false lashes #138 Ardelllashes.com
Urban Decay eye liner in Pervision Urbandecay.com

If you guys are ever wondering on how to re-create any look and the face chart is not specific enough or helpful, do let me know! Because I will do a tutorial!

Talk to you soon!

Happy Sunday Beautifuls!

I know I have not posted on here in forever... I have been going through quiet a bit of changes (great changes!) and I am so excited to be starting makeup school this week!! So I have been a bit busy! However as I have previously mentioned, I loved the Makeup Geek shadows that I received last week so I did add 4 more shades to my collection and wanted to share them with you because I created a look that I will be posting as well with them.
The first color that I have added to my collection is: CORRUPT
Makeup Geek Eyeshadow Pan - Corrupt
Corrupt is a very rich black color that is very smooth and has a matte finish.

Next: UNICORN
Makeup Geek Eyeshadow Pan - Unicorn

This color is so pretty! It is a mix of blue and purple. One is not overwhelming the other so creates a perfect combination of the two and this gorgeous color. I love it!

Third color:  COCOA BEAR
Makeup Geek Eyeshadow Pan - Cocoa Bear
Now the first time I got the Makeup Geek Shadows I did not choose any of the brows because when I create my looks I tend to steer more towards the bright colors. But I did want to add a more natural color to my collection. This is a very warm reddish brown color, blends very nicely and looks great with my skin tone. This one also has a matte finish.

Final color: MOONDUST
Makeup Geek Eyeshadow Pan - Moondust
This is my favourite out of the 4 I believe! It is a very shimmery taupe gray color that looks awesome when blended over black! Adds that extra sparkle!

I have included some swatches below as well! Here is where you can get some Makeup Geek eyeshadows as well: MakeupGeek.com

Have a great rest of your weekend!

Hi Beauties!
I have recently purchased some products and wanted to share my honest opinion on them for the first time :)! Today I will be reviewing the BH 15 eyeshadow pro palette and the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil.

So let's start with the BH 15 eyeshadow Pro Palette. I really liked the fact that  you are able to customize the palett with either 6 or in my case 15 different shadows that come in 120 different colors in both matte and shimmer. The range of colors is awesome as well, from warm to cool to metallic! I filled mine with the following:

WS06 WS20 WM1 WM2 WM3 WM5 WM6 WM15 WM20 CM14 CM15 CS9 CS16 CS17 MS8

I do like the shadows quiet a bit even thought I prefer the shimmery colors over the matte because they are much smoother. The colors are very nice but are a bit tough to blend. The palette case itself is very durable and comes with a full size mirror which is so nice for when you are on the go! It is magnetic as well and is the perfect size :)  Overall I would give this product 8 out of 10 because the matte colors were a bit different than I expected but the palette case, shimmer colors, and the customization are all awesome!

Next, is my new favorite eyeliner! This is fantastic! The Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Pervision. While at Sephora looking for a new eyeliner, I decided to check these out because I have read some good reviews on them. I tried the liner in Zero and loved it, but Pervision caught my eye so I decided to give it a try. Pervision won me over! The black is so rich and smooth with a matte finish and was a bit more saturated than Zero. If you are like me and prefer your liner extremely black, I would suggest Pervision, if you are more on the lighter side with less of a dramatic effect, Zero is for you. The durability is outstanding, the liner lasted me from 8-5 with no additional application which my previous liner -  Too Faced unfortunately did not do! I love this liner, it is my new favorite hands down :) I give it a 10 out of 10!

So there it is! My first product review with my honest opinions! Thank you for reading! Have a great weekend!

Fire Red

Hi Beauties!
This is the first look that I wanted to share with everyone! I have not worked with red a lot in the past so I wanted to give it a try and see what I can come up with :) For this look I used the Coastal Scents 88 Palette.

I personally love this palette, the colors are very pigmented and are pretty easy to work with! I have indicated the colors used on the picture of the palette. Color A (indicated with an opened heart) is a very bright orange/red color. Color B(indicated with a star) is more on the pink side but does have a strong red pigment as well. I also used the NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk in the corner of my eye which reflect the light beautifully! I also used it as a highlighter on my brow bone with the white from the palette that is indicated with the pink heart.

So here it is! I really hope you guys like it! I will do more of step by step tutorials soon :)
Thanks for checking it out :)

Color you later!
